ROSE GRAY (nee sullivan) WAS BORN ON 10TH APRIL 1919 AND PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY ON 15TH APRIL 2006 AT THE AGE OF 87.
BORN IN LIVERPOOL AND LIVED IN ELDON STREET,SHE MARRIED MY DAD ERNIE AND IN 1957 WE MOVED TO KIRKBY WERE SHE HAD A NUMBER OF JOBS HER LAST JOB WAS WAS AT BIRDS EYE WERE SHE RAN HOLIDAYS HER WORKMATES CALLED THEM ROSIE GRAYS TOURS, SHE ALSO RAN THE PENSIONERS AT NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY CENTRE AND WENT TO BINGO THERE EVERY TUES AND FRI.
MY MUM HAD 11 CHILDREN WITH 8 SURVIVING,6 GIRLS AND 2 BOYS,ALSO 23 GRANDCHILDREN AND 23 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND NEVER FORGOT A BIRTHDAY!!
SHE ALSO HAD 3 SISTERS JULIA,MARY AND TERESA AND 2 BROTHERS JIMMY AND DINNY WHO ARE SADLY ALL DECEASED.
SHE IS MISSED BEYOND WORDS BY EACH AND EVERYONE OF US.

As we draw to the end of another year,
We think of the ones that we hold so dear,
We pause to give thanks for our friends so true,
And ask God to bless them, the old and new.
We hold up each loved one before His Throne
And ask Him to comfort the ones alone,
For those who have lost someone they hold dear,
We ask Him to strengthen and hold them near.
For those who have prospered, with new joys to savour,
We ask God continues to show them His favour.

The nights are getting longer, the sun is barely here
The weather is cold and frosty so Christmas must be near
Twinkling lights will start appearing, Holly and Tinsel here and there
Santa Wish Lists will be written by excited children everywhere
Our Christmas Day will be filled with memories, with sadness and with tears, with remembering Happy Christmas's spent together in previous years
It's Christmas time without you, so it will not be Happy and Jolly Just very empty, sad and blue
But deep down I know you'll be with me, I will feel your presence when I am blue, I will smile when I remember some silly times, and the twinkling eyes that were uniquely you
So, I am not looking forward to this Christmas, I know the happy moments will be few, but I know it is something I have to live through... Christmas without you!
